Emu Oil and Antioxidant Oil Storage
We purchase only Premium Quality Grade A, AEA Certified Pure Emu Oil. It is naturally a creamy semi-solid or solid consistency and only begins to liquefy above 75 degrees Fahrenheit or 24 degrees C. When your Emu Oil becomes very thick you can warm it in the palm of your hand or put the bottle under warm water. Emu Oil will return to its natural semi-solid consistency again when it cools or if it is refrigerated. Do not freeze glass.
Our four ounce bottles can refill our one ounce or half ounce plastic dropper bottles, glass dropper bottles and roll ons that are lightweight, convenient size, perfect for dispensing oils accurately; one drop at a time allowing your oil to last up to twice as long. These smaller bottles are a great addition to your purse, pocketbook, pocket or gym bag that allows you to store the larger four ounce bottles in your refrigerator.
How long does emu oil and other antioxidant skincare oils keep? Pure emu oil fully refined, and antioxidant oils normally last up to 2 years at room temperature, up to twice as long when refrigerated. Years in the freezer.
Your Emu Oil will become solid when refrigerated or frozen.
Keep your skincare that you use daily at under 75 degree Fahrenheit or 24 degrees Celsius at home or in the office, out of direct sunlight. When traveling keep it in a pocket (not in your jeans), gym bag, purse but do not leave antioxidant skincare in the car or anywhere hot.
Shake the bottle well. Never squeeze the bottle too hard. If the Emu Oil has hardened from cold temperature, warm the bottle in the palm of your hand. Apply gently onto your skin. Repeat as necessary after it is completely absorbed. A little bit of emu oil goes a long way; if the emu oil feels greasy and does not absorb quickly into the skin then you’ve applied too much. Do not leave Emu Oil in the car or anywhere hot
Keep what you do not use on daily basis refrigerated. Defrost at room temperature and shake a bottle well before using.
